Delivery, Installation & Repairs

Delivery is carried out by a one-man van crew, to an accessible ground floor room of choice. We are happy to deliver upstairs if you are able to provide a second person to help lift your appliance upstairs and an old one downstairs, where required. We reserve the right to charge for an upstairs delivery, please check upon purchase. Please bear in mind there may be occasions​ where the appliance is too heavy to lift upstairs, or the route too narrow or inaccessible.

We do our best to complete all deliveries, installations and repairs without issue and to our customers satisfaction. This is very important to us. However occasionally we are unable to carry out services to completion. This is generally due to poor kitchen installation; old, thin or poor quality flooring and flooring that has been installed after appliances have been fitted. We can also come across poor, inadequate or no plumbing or electric points to connect to. Installation is solely connection to existing and correct plumbing / electric points.
We ask that you are prepared for our visit and clear any walkways, cupboards and worktop areas we will be using. We ask that you inform us of any potential issues with walkways, steps, flooring, cupboards, plumbing or electrics before we begin work. We advise that you check the above before purchase as It may not be possible to deliver, install or connect your appliance if there is an issue with any of the above and refunds will not be issued.
Southern Domestic Appliances Ltd cannot be held liable for any damage to flooring. Where possible, we will point out any issues we foresee before we start work. We will advise you and ask if you would like us to continue. You can refuse further work at this point, however any charges paid for callout, diagnosis or delivery will not be refundable. If any damage occurs during our visit, you must point out the damage while we are still at your property.
